REFUGE BG MEETS THE NEEDS OF KENTUCKY’S GROWING REFUGEE POPULATION WITH NEW STAFFING AGENCY
BOWLING GREEN, KY. – Hundreds of refugees come to Bowling Green every year looking for opportunity, safety, and a place to heal. In fact, Bowling Green has become the home of 30% of Kentucky’s refugee population. “Arriving in Bowling Green can be the end of one long and painful journey and the beginning of another equally complicated effort to resettle. But with the right kind of help, it doesn’t have to be that way,” said Daniel Tarnagda, Executive Director of Refuge BG.
Refuge BG has been a bridge between refugees and the services critical for their resettlement since 2015. And now they are using their seven years of experience with refugee job placement to create their own staffing agency.
Refuge BG’s staffing agency is supplying employers with dependable employees, reliable transportation, and pre-employment training. For added convenience, participants remain on Refuge BG payroll for three months before transitioning to the employer’s payroll. Employers that work with Refuge BG are supporting the growing refugee community while also getting all the benefits of a productive staffing agency.
For more information on the agency and to find out how you can sign up, call Daniel Tarnagda at 270-202-0518 or go to https://refugebg.com/contact/.
